CROP Hunger Walks help children and families worldwide – and right here in the U.S. – to have food for today, while building for a better tomorrow. Our local efforts are making a huge difference... and you are part of it! This is the 29th year for Oak Park's participation. In
honor of that, third graders are attempting to raise $2029. Non-perishable food items will also be collected.

Walk Date: May 6
Step Off: 2 PM
Location: Pilgrim Congregational Church

Every dollar raised for our CROP Hunger Walk will be increased this year! The Feinstein Foundation will divide $1 million among hunger-fighting events during March and April, and our CROP Hunger Walk is just such an event. The more funds we raise, the more we'll receive – so every dollar counts even more! Please make all checks payable to CWS- CROP Walk.

Annual Fun Run

The District Fun Run will be held on Saturday, May 12, 8am at Lindberg Park. Sign up forms and information are in the Digital Backpack. It is a different event than the Fun Run we had last fall. It is free of charge (organized by PE teachers) to promote physical fitness.

Have You Helped Out at School This Year?

It is coming to the end of the year and the PTO wants to have a night for all those parents who have helped out throughout the year to make this another successful year. Please join the PTO on April 19th at Buzz Cafe from 7-9 with appetizers and drinks.
