A Request from Nurse Jenn
The nurse's office is running very low on boys and girls pants. If you have any gently-used clothing you could donate, it would be much appreciated!
Mathathon
Every
year our school participates in the Mathathon, which raises money for
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. This will be our 8th year
participating. In the last 7 years, Longfellow has raised about
$38,645! While it is completely optional to participate in, many
students enjoy it because they are able to do fun math problems and win prizes while
raising money to help kids who are sick. Information/consent forms were sent home. Math funbooks will be sent home before winter break. (Student can also
do the funbooks online which they are able to start ASAP.) Money
raised will be due by Friday, Jan. 24th so
students have all of winter break to complete the math problems and
collect the money. The class that raises the most money will get 10
bear necessities each!! If you have any more questions about this,
