You Are What You Eat!

This month's Nourish to Flourish theme is nutrition and portion size. Next week we will tally all the fresh fruits and vegetables we eat at school (both snack and lunch.) In addition, students are encouraged to wear certain colors each day and eat a fruit or vegetable of that color.
  • Monday: blue/purple - eat grapes, for example, and wear blue or purple
  • Tuesday: white - eat a banana, for example, and wear white
  • Wednesday: red - eat a red apple, for example, and wear red
  • Thursday: yellow/orange - eat carrots, for example, and wear orange or yellow
  • Friday: green - eat celery, for example, and wear green
