When life gives you lemons...

make lemonade. When Paige gave us apples, we made applesauce! We had so much fun making and eating applesauce today! We followed a simple Croc Pot recipe I found online. The kids seemed to like it so here is the recipe if you'd like to make it at home:
4lbs tart apples: peeled, cored, sliced thin
1c water
1/2 c sugar (I thought it was just a little too sweet. Adjust to your liking and the tartness of the apples.)
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp cinnamon (We put in a little extra!)
Mix it all together in the Croc Pot, cook on high for 3 hours. Mash with a potato masher.
