Mathathon

Longfellow School is participating in the Mathathon again to help raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.  Over the past 6 years in which we have participated, Longfellow has raised a grand total of $35,474.26!  If you would like your child to participate in the mathathon by doing fun, math problems, please sign and return the consent form by Friday, Dec. 14th to Ms. Smith.  Indicate on the consent form if you would like your child to receive a printed funbook or do the problems online. If you choose a printed funbook, they will be delivered before winter break. If you do the work online, you can set up an online account and start anytime.   Depending on how much money students raise, they may win prizes. (Please see consent form for the list or prizes.)  Regardless of how much students raise, they will earn 1 bear necessity for participating. The class with the most money raised will win 10 bear necessities per student!
